KARL MARX’S Great Discovery

This is a book on the methodology of economic analysis, a key problem of political economy. It is an examination of the methodological role of Karl Marx’s doctrine of the dual nature, or two-fold character, of labour, whose importance for the development of economic science it is hard to exaggerate.

The Quantum Theory of Political Economy

You will disappointed to hear that I am not about to solve Schroedinger's wave equation and deduce the states of a politico-economic system-sorry about that. Rather I am going to suggest that quantum theory provides a much better conceptual paradigm for Marxian political economy than that of Cartesian-Newtonianism (CN, for short) that dominates bourgeois thinking about political economy. I shall then go on to argue that, if we are to begin to construct an alternative strategy for replacing capitalism with a truly human-based political economy and society, then we should adopt this mode of thinking.

An Austrian Paradox: The Contribution of the Austrian School to the Development of Marx's Labour Theory of Value

Ever since the origin of the Austrian School in the latter part of the nineteenth century, a paradox has existed in its relation to Marx's economic theory. Ironically, even though the school led an irreconcilable ideological fight against Marx's economic theory and particularly against his labour theory of value, l:s adherents unknowingly advanced research on its central category, that is, 'socially necessary labour'. In this article, it is posited that the scientific interrelation between these schools is based on how they reveal the structure of the process of forming socially necessary labour.
